This policy explains how Locator Bar Color Checker handles information when you use the website at locatorcolorchecker.live.

Information you enter

A UUID entered directly into the checker is normalized and converted to a color in your browser. It is not sent to the lookup service for the calculation.

When you look up a Minecraft username, the username is sent to this site's lookup endpoint. The endpoint sends it to Mojang's public profile service to retrieve the current Java Edition UUID, then returns the color result. We do not create a database of username or UUID lookups.

Browser storage

The checker stores recent checks in your browser's local storage so they remain available on your device. You can clear recent checks from the tool. Browser storage can also be removed through your browser settings.

Analytics

This site uses Google Analytics to understand aggregate traffic and site performance. Google may process device, browser, and usage information, including IP address and identifiers, as described in Google's policies. For visitors in the EEA, the UK, and Switzerland, Google tag storage is limited by default until a consent choice is available.

Advertising
